Guillaume Azoulay
The King of the Line
As the youngest person ever to have his work accepted into the permanent archives of the Musee du Louvre in Paris, Azoulay has developed a following and reputation within the art world that is second to none. Born in 1949 in Morocco, he was making a living selling his work by the age of thirteen, and his self-taught style and strong representations of fluid motion have been likened to "capturing the most vital moments of life." His works are found in the most prestigious museums, as well as in the private collections of former President Ronald Reagan, Francois Mitterand, the late Anwar Sadat, King Hassan II of Morocco, Prince Rainier, and Nelson Rockefeller. |
